Art in the Park Marietta

Art in the Park Marietta is a historical event that supports and celebrates both local and national artists from around the country. Festival guests will be able to tour the unique museums and galleries and also visit shops and boutiques from 175 of the country's most recognized artists. The event is listed #9 in the nation in the Fine Art and Design category. It opens September 4th and closes September 6th, 2021. The festival begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. and is free entry. Included pieces that will be exhibited at the festival are items such as pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, and sculptures.


Atlanta Jazz Festival

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is an annual showcase of the Jazz legends we know and love, and up-and-coming artists. It takes place at Piedmont Park and is one of the country's largest free entry jazz festivals. Guests and tourists are even encouraged to join due to the many workshops presented throughout the festival. The festival is between September 5th and September 6th, 2021. It includes performances from artist such as Mike Phillips, Sean Jones, Theo Croker, and many more! Want to bring the kids along? Perfect! There is a kids zone where children can learn to play the African drums and feel the music with Russel Gunn.


Calloway Gardens Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Hot Air Balloon Festival at Calloway Garden and Resorts lights up the sky literally! The night begins with a Hot Air Balloon Glow in which the balloons are illuminated and fireworks fly high. The experience is captivating and takes place at Robin Lake Beach. Bring your swimsuits and aim to have fun in the sun until the show begins. Guests who purchase tickets also have full access to Calloway Gardens and all of it's most famous attractions. The Labor day kick off starts September 3rd and ends September 5th. Doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $14.95 for children and $24.95 for adults.


Chic-fil-A College Kickoff Games

Calling all of the college football fans! This Labor Day weekend is the kickoff of the college football games sponsored by Chic-fil-A. They start off the games with Alabama vs Miami. Now these are games you don't want to miss. This is a great outing for family or friends to enjoy their favorite teams play it out. Game times vary depending on the teams and tickets range from between $64 and $146. Bring out your jersey's and paint up because it's going to include some interesting games. Even have or join a tailgate to get into the team spirit. Games will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.


Stone Mountain Lasershow Spectacular

Stone Mountain, one of Georgia's biggest attractions, is hosting a laser show from August 7th to September 11th, 2021. Each night the show starts at 9:30 p.m. and the fireworks begin! The event features lights, music, fireworks, lasers, and more. Cannons have been added to add a "bang" to the show. The prices range from $10 to $20 with seating that is social distance friendly!
