4 Things to Do This Saint Patrick's Day

It's your lucky week! If you're looking to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, here's a few places it may be hiding. Even if you're not of Irish heritage, Saint Patrick's Day is a fun holiday to celebrate with family and friends. If you are looking for a few activities to do this Saint Patrick's Day here is a list of 4 activities to try!

1. Luck of Avalon

This Saint Patrick's Day enjoy an afternoon of fun and laughter at The Avalon! On Friday, March 11th The Avalon will be hosting their annual Luck of Avalon celebration. During this event there will be guest performances from King O'Sullivan School of Irish Dance and the North Georgia Pipes and Drums! There will be live music, green beer with a touch of Irish flair. 2. Leprechaun Hunt

If you're looking for a more family friendly activity for the kids, Georgia Pierce Park has just the idea! On Friday, March 11th they will be hosting a leprechaun hunt in the park. The hunt will be available for children ages 3 - 4 from 1pm to 3 pm. During this activity families will be able to search for gold and hunt for leprechauns! There will be characters, crafts, and treats available at this event for the guests. 3. Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade

Looking for a fun city experience? Come step out in your green for the Atlanta Midtown St. Patrick's Day parade! This parade will be honoring Atlanta's first responders. The parade will also include Irish dance troupes, marching bands, floats, convertibles, animals and performance groups. Entrance is free, so come out and show your Irish pride. 4. Luck of The Square

Here's an activity that encompasses a few other activities. If you're looking for a 2 in 1 experience the Luck of The Square is it. On March 12th, Luck of The Square will be hosting the annual St. Patrick's Day 5k run along with the Luck of The Square celebration. The day starts off with the 5k run at 9:45am. Each participant in the race will receive an all day parking pass for only $8, and all participants 21 and older will receive a drink after the race! After the race, starting at 12pm the Luck of The Square celebration will begin. Guests can head to The Plaza for drinks, face painting, photo ops and more.
